Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Duplicates Buster application (the "App") operated by Linksgroups ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. Description of the App
Duplicates Buster is a file-management utility that scans your Android device for duplicate and similar files and helps you free up storage space. The App operates entirely on-device; your files are never uploaded to external servers.
3. Free Tier and Pro Subscription
- Free tier — core scanning and bulk deletion features are available at no charge. Free users may run up to 3 Similar Image scans per calendar month. A single banner advertisement is shown on the Home screen. Free users may see a non-blocking interstitial ad after bulk deletion.
- Pro subscription — unlocks unlimited Similar Image scans, scheduled auto-scan, full storage analytics, export reports, no ads, and priority support. Pro is available as a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription via Google Play Billing.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
- We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy.
4. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation.
- Attempt to circumvent the Pro subscription gate or free-tier limits.
- Distribute, sell, sublicense, or transfer the App or any rights therein.
6. User Responsibility for File Deletion
The App moves deleted files to an app-managed recycle bin for 30 seconds before permanent deletion. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that files you delete are truly unwanted. We accept no liability for accidental deletion of files.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linksgroups and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and Google Play Billing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to the software, design, trademarks, and logos, are owned by or licensed to Linksgroups. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the App other than the limited licence described in Section 4.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, all licences granted herein cease immediately. Sections 6 through 14 shall survive termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, displaying an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
